Island Camp’s greatest allure is simply as a gathering place for family and friends. Boating, fishing and other water sports are essential elements of living on the Delta, but it’s the camaraderie of the community that defines the Delta Coves lifestyle.
Island Camp serves as the epicenter of social life. A place to go for everything from sunrise yoga to a sunset fish fry. And Island Camp’s central location on the main lagoon makes it easy to meet up with friends and neighbors — whether you arrive by foot, car or simply by swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding over from your private dock.
Club Room
The gorgeous vaulted ceilings of the Club Room and the views over the water to Mount Diablo make it the perfect gathering area. Picture yourself enjoying next year’s Super Bowl on the giant TV wall or wagering on a friendly game of pool with your neighbors. There are also plenty of comfy corners to curl up with a book or swap stories with neighbors.
Picnic Pavilion
The Game Pavilion is the ultimate indoor-outdoor fun zone, complete with pool tables, ping-pong, bag toss, a wide range of family table games, and an epic view of the lagoon. The Game Pavilion is also home to a commercial event kitchen available for parties and festivities, as well as gas BBQs with a gorgeous view overlooking the lagoon.
Duffy Bar
The Duffy Bar is a true treasure of Island Camp. Created from a retired Duffy boat, complete with swings instead of bar stools, and located on a sandy corner of Island Camp alongside the water, the Duffy Bar is the perfect place to soak up the Delta views with cocktail in hand.
Swim Complex
At 36 by 75 feet, the Camp’s main sparkling pool is suited to swimming laps or just splashing around with the kids. Little ones will enjoy the toddler pool, while adults can recharge in the hot tub or kick back in the cabanas and lounges that surround the main pool. Changing rooms and showers are available for your convenience.
Fitness Center + Movement Studio
Inspired workouts are steps away from home at our fully equipped fitness facility, geared towards a new generation of active health seekers. Tone and strengthen with the latest cardio and free-weight equipment. Or practice sunrise yoga or pilates in the beautiful Movement Studio with views across the lagoon to Mount Diablo.
Sports courts
Complete with two pickleball courts, a basketball half court, a full sand volleyball court, and two shaded ramadas for a picnic break — the Sport Courts are a perfect place for family fun and friendly competition. The Volleyball Club and Dock Dinkers of Delta Coves frequently meet to connect with neighbors and practice their game of choice.
Playground
Ready. Set. Play. Our little residents love to swing, climb, and slide at the Island Camp playground situated near the sports courts. The outdoor space provides a place for them to stretch their muscles and build their imagination in the fresh Delta air.
Docks + Ramps
Take your commute to the water and visit Island Camp by boat, kayak or paddleboard — cruising from your dock to ours. Island Camp boasts docks to drop anchor while you take advantage of the amenities, a kayak ramp for easy launching or disembarking, and pump out station for use upon request. Dock rentals available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Firepits
Looking over the lagoon — not far from the Duffy Boat Bar — three firepits sit nestled in the sand and surrounded by relaxing adirondack chairs. Residents can gather to chat and tell stories fireside, or take advantage of S'mores nights to really get into the classic feel of community that comes from gathering around the fireside at camp.
