Landscape and facilities emergency line now available

Taking stroll through the community after hours and see something amiss with community property? Residents can call the after-hours emergency line to file a report. This new feature allows the Delta Coves Community Life team to handle proper common area property emergencies quickly and decrease costs for flooding water from landscaping or other damages.

Community concern vs. emergency line

Residents should fill out a community concern for all non-emergency items around the clock and for community property emergencies during business hours. The form goes directly to the entire Delta Coves Community Life team — allowing whoever is in office to respond quickly when needed.

The new landscape and facilities emergency line operates from Monday through Sunday, 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Operators will take your call and may direct you to fill out a community concern if the situation does not qualify as an emergency.

Emergency checklist

Before calling, ask yourself if this needs to be dealt with tonight or if it can wait until the morning. Examples of emergency problems include

  • Running water in a community area that is not from a homeowner’s drip system or sprinkler
  • Inoperable gates into or exiting Island Camp
  • Flooding at Island Camp

What does not qualify as an emergency?

Keep in mind, the after hours operators will not address non-emergent situations.

  • Your neighbor’s water system running overnight. Contact your neighbor using the resident directory.
  • Inoperable entry gate at one of the three community gates — Edgewater Dr., Delta Coves Dr., or Sea Gate Pl. Please use another gate and fill out a community concern.
  • Your neighbor’s dog barking overnight. Alternatively, fill out a community concern, contact county animal services, or politely reach out directly to the neighbor using the resident directory.
