In January, we — your Delta Coves Community Life team — sent out a survey to ascertain your level of satisfaction with community programming and engagement.

Whether you live here year-round, on the weekends, or only in the summer, your input helps us further our mission to cultivate relationships that inspire people to find purpose, live authentically, and thrive together in Delta Coves.

Read through the survey highlights,  then see what the Delta Coves Community Life team and board of directors are planning in 2024 on based on your feedback.

Our commitment to you

We’re listening and are excited to continue creating innovative solutions and engaging opportunities. Here’s what we’ve got planned.

Helping new neighbors feel welcome

  • We, your Community Life team, are adding programming and introductions to the New Neighbor Whale-come. This includes highlighting resources like where to find rules, who’s who at Delta Coves, and introducing the Whale-come Committee.

Rules and assessment concerns

  • The DCMC board of directors and Community Life staff invite residents to attend board meetings. They’re open meetings where budgets, projects, and contracts are reviewed and these decisions can affect budgets and — ultimately — your dues. Submit questions ahead of the meeting and be a part of the budgeting and decision-making process.
  • Learn more about the community by visiting the governance and financial pages.
  • We’ll continue to educate the community about rules and budgets, too. Keep an eye on your emails for more info in your weekly Delta Coves News.
  • Reach out if you don’t receive the weekly eblast, we’ll keep you up to date.

Time to play

  • A new play structure is coming! It’s set to be installed and ready to go this May.
  • Get your pups ready, too. A dog park is in the works — we’ll keep you updated once we know more.

More hands on deck

  • The board approved an additional part-time ambassador for Island Camp during the high season (May to September) to have extra eyes monitoring the area.

Compliance woes

Music to your ears

  • Thank you for letting us know what music makes you groove. We’re looking for local bands to play some ’80s or country jams for our next Lagoon concert.
