Floating through the 2025 Engagement Survey

Residents completed the second annual engagement survey — sent by your Community Life team — in September 2025.

Feedback from this survey helps us steer the ship in events — both fun and educational — and build more opportunities for community involvement. Choose your own adventure and skim through the highlights below or dive deep into the full results or both.

Whichever map you follow, let the wind guide you back to the captain’s log at the bottom of this page.

Taking feedback to heart

We’re listening to your responses and excited to continue creating innovative solutions. Here were some common suggestions and questions:

Going local

  • Local bands are our jam. Community Life reaches out to groups you’ve told us you like first, and then dig into the local groups suggested. Sometimes your favorite group doesn’t have the equipment set up needed to perform at Island Camp.

Helping neighbors feel welcome

  • Community Life host several New Neighbor Whale-come events throughout the year. We share resources like where to find rules and who’s who at Delta Coves.
  • Several neighbors suggested localizing the Warm Whale-come Crew by cove. Please email us if you’re interested in welcoming new neighbors.

Island Camp tunes

  • With several hundred residents living in Delta Coves, balancing musical tastes requires some give and take. If the style of music or volume at the Picnic Pavilion is not up to snuff, stop by the Community Life office or email us to request a change. We’ll review it against our licensing limitations and board directives.

Community concern metrics

  • Your board of directors invites all residents to every-other-month board meetings. During these meetings, Community Life reviews the management report — including design review and compliance violation metrics.

Tasty treats and trucks

  • Thank you for your patience while we navigate a new way to cater for large-scale events. Food trucks allow us to feed more people in a shorter amount of time while taking different food preferences into account. Each event gives us more info and helps us learn for the next time.
