2026 Spring events guide

While rainy weather may be putting a damper on being outdoors right now, the time is right to plan for a spring season blooming with Delta Coves events. Get out your calendar – or phone – and save these dates.

Get in the know — community favorites

Hop on down to Island Camp for a festive Spring Fling — March 28 at 11 a.m. Smaller residents enjoy a spirited hunt for egg treats and interacting with Mr. Hoppy. Snacks will be on site for all.

Keeping the lagoon healthy requires a partnership between the residents, state agencies, DCMC, and community partners. Head over early for Coffee and Doughnuts, then stay for Lagoon Health 101 at 10 a.m. to learn about the 2026 plan for maintaining the lagoon for all.

Master the local Delta waters and refine your fishing techniques. Join your neighbors and local fishing experts for a morning chatting about locales, casting, bait, and more. Fishing 101 begins at 10 a.m. in the pool area.

Do you have what it takes to make the biggest catch of the day? Head out into the Delta Coves lagoon on April 25 and report your findings before noon.

Visit relaxed neighbor meetups

Meet up at the picnic pavilion for a morning treat and a chance to whale-come new neighbors into the community. Community Life will be onsite to answer any questions.

Get ready to toast some marshmallows! Whether you like them a little soft or on the extra crispy side, join up with neighbors at the Island Camp firepits for a classic S'mores night. Supplies go out in the Picnic Pavilion kitchen at 5 p.m.

Start your morning with a warm cup of coffee, a sweet treat, and the chance to chat with your neighbors. This event is about relaxed vibes in the Picnic Pavilion. Everything is ready at 9 a.m. until supplies run out.

Take a moment to break bread and share your favorite dishes with neighbors at the semi-annual Resident Potluck. Hosted by your neighborhood potluck crew - festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. Check out the calendar for this month's theme and RSVP details.

Go back to (board) business

Join your board of directors in person or online for the general board meeting. Neighbors may submit questions for the board ahead of the meeting or join to ask during the member comment period.

New to 2026, your board of directors invite you to a casual chat at Island Camp. While there is no official meeting agenda, your resident directors ask that all neighbors please be courteous to one another at these meetups.
