Summer summary 2026

Summer sunrises overlooking sparkling waters off your dock. Warm breeze blowing through your hair while you through miles of waterways. The data shows it – summers bring more activity to Delta Coves. Whether it’s part-timers returning or guests visiting neighbors, or the summer vibes calling for extra pool days, this season made a splash.

Celebrate the season

Duffy Days

While winds gusted through the community, residents still turned up for two days of whale-y awesome fun. Teams played new games and returning favorites, painted on a festive spirit, and grazed delicious bites. Find your favorite photos and share some of your own.

Summer concerts on the lawn

Neighbors gathered under the setting sun for music on the lawn. Some brought chairs, others blankets, some snacked and some sipped. Altogether, neighbors spent the evening in community.

Opportunities to connect

Coffee, doughnuts, and s'mores

Throughout the year — not just the summer season — residents meetup at Island Camp for Saturday Coffee & Doughnuts or Friday night s’mores sessions. Sometimes the simplest moments build friendships that last.

Whale-comes and potlucks

Taking the first step into community can be the hardest. That’s why the New Neighbor Whale-come takes place every few months, the Whale-come Committee stays active all year long, and your neighbors lead the charge in the Resident Potlucks.

Summer Sendoff

Boats lined the lagoon, food trucks filled the parking lot, and music floated through the airways at this year’s Summer Sendoff. The annual Labor Day lagoon concert brings neighbors together for a last hurrah on the water as summer boating season comes to a close.

Casual encounters

Community in clubs

Find new friendships and common ground with active Delta Coves clubs. From pickleball to golf, books to wine, and everything in between, club life brings neighbors together. Don’t see the club you’re looking for? We’ll help you get started. All it takes is a simple form, an initial meeting date, and a request for others to join you.

Boats & Berries

The annual Boats & Berries festival brought their parade of festive vehicles through Delta Coves — with some neighbors lining the streets to watch and others participating in the line up.

Delta Coves resident Janette Tomczak brought home the title of Bethel Island Queen. Together with her crew, she raised more than more than $5,000 for charity.

Smooth sailing in governance

Meeting recaps

While summer reigned supreme, the community kept on running. Your board hosted meetings in May and July, plus the annual meeting in September. Residents joined in both online and virtually to hear community business, management stats, and share their thoughts and questions on the community.
