Tell us about yourself.

I’m a lifelong learner and explorer at heart, with over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance. My career has taken me from CFO roles to consulting for companies navigating every stage of the business life cycle — mergers, acquisitions, start-ups, and wind-downs. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside founders and professionals to help build bridges to their dreams, and I’ve also dedicated three decades to serving on nonprofit boards.

Currently, my focus is on professional coaching, where I help clients cultivate resilience, adaptability, and authenticity. I believe that with simple tools: mindfulness, breath, movement, and curiosity, anyone can create meaningful change in their life. I’m passionate about sharing these tools within the Delta Coves community to support our collective well-being and growth.

Outside of work, I value connection and creativity, whether that’s through creative pursuits or simply being present in the moment. I thrive on meaningful conversations, healthy living, and building authentic relationships. Photography and travel are my favorite ways to explore the world — capturing moments and discovering beauty in everyday experiences. I value curiosity, integrity, and the beauty of everyday experiences.

As a naturally introspective person, I’ve spent much of my life balancing a love of quiet observation with the demands of leading others through change. My career has taken me into roles where I’ve had to step out of my comfort zone, but I always return to creativity, wellness, and meaningful connection as my anchors.

How long have you called Delta Coves home?

We moved into our house on May 28, 2021, but honestly, we called it home the moment we bought the property and stood on our dock admiring the sunset over Mount Diablo.

What do you enjoy most about living in Delta Coves?

What I love most is the sense of community and the natural beauty that surrounds us. There’s something grounding about being close to the water and sharing this space with neighbors who genuinely care about one another. The energy here is both peaceful and invigorating. It’s also a place where our friends and family feel like they are on vacation.

We built this space to recharge and enjoy the natural beauty around us. Whether I’m out on the water or behind my camera, I find that Delta Coves offers the perfect blend of connection and solitude.

What are some of your favorite memories and traditions here?

Some of my favorite memories are the boat parades and potlucks —  those moments when everyone comes together to celebrate, share good food, and create lasting memories. It’s the simple traditions that make this place feel truly special.

What inspired you to move to Delta Coves?

It was initially my husband’s Big Find. We had been looking to move away from the foggy coast. On our first visit, we were wowed by the water, the sun, and the incredible facilities. From the beginning, I could see that Delta Coves would support an active lifestyle and offer endless opportunities to connect with nature and community.

What do you think makes Delta Coves a great community?

It’s a great setting for a good life. The combination of natural beauty, active living, and welcoming people makes it a place where you can truly thrive.

What is it about healthy living that you love?

I’m fascinated with the body and its ability to heal itself. There’s so much wisdom in tuning into our own well-being and making small, consistent choices that support a vibrant, balanced life.

Do you have a favorite community event?

Potlucks are my favorite — they bring everyone together and always lead to great conversations and new friendships.

What inspired you to share this mission with your fellow neighbors?

Over the years, I’ve struggled to find something that I could contribute to Delta Coves. I spent some time in Bali this winter and came away with a renewed sense of how important it is to support and serve my neighbors. I was inspired to share my own personal journey with the community. I realized I could bring some of what I learned there back to Delta Coves, helping others discover new paths to wellness.

How can a neighbor become involved in Living Well DC?

Living Well DC is an evolving club — we’ve just launched yoga classes, and there’s so much more to come. We are planning a variety of activities like blood pressure monitoring and education. Anyone who wants to up their game in the wellness arena, or who has expertise, personal experience, wisdom, or knows someone who could bring classes, workshops, or other experiences to our island, can contact me directly at 415-827-5822.

What's one small change neighbors can make to live healthier?

Breathwork and movement can engage your body’s natural power to heal and create balance. It only takes a few minutes each day. By practicing simple breathing exercises and stretching, you can make a meaningful difference in your well-being.

What are your favorite water activities?

Swimming, sailing, kayaking, and bird watching are my favorites. I also love capturing the ever-changing light and wildlife with my camera — there’s always something new to discover from behind the lens.

What other clubs and activities are you involved with within the neighborhood or the Delta?

I join the Creative Crafters & Creativity Club whenever I can and enjoy being part of groups that encourage creative expression, whether that’s through art, photography, or simply sharing ideas. I love exploring new things and sharing creative energy with others. It’s my Happy Place.

What’s an interesting fact others might not know about you?

I’m rather shy, which might surprise some people given my background. Throughout my career, I’ve led companies through profound transitions — roles that required me to step up, speak out, and guide others through change. Over time, I’ve had to learn to overcome my shyness to be effective in those positions. That said, I still dislike crowds and often find large gatherings draining. I’m really bad at small talk.

One of the reasons I love photography is that it allows me to be behind the lens, observing and capturing moments rather than being the center of attention. It’s a way for me to connect with the world on my own terms.

Another little-known fact: I’ve visited 48 of the 50 states — exploring new places is a passion of mine, and it’s on my bucket list to make it to all 50, including Puerto Rico!

I’m always open to new ideas and connections, especially those with a passion for wellness, creativity, or community. If you share a passion for exploring new perspectives — whether through a camera lens, a yoga mat, or a new adventure — I’d love to connect. Delta Coves is a special place because of the people who make it home, and I’m grateful to be part of that.
