Neighbors and Community Life kept events moving to keep connection warm during the chilly winter months. Take a look back through this wrap up to relive your favorite memories and see what you missed.

Decorate Your Dock contest
Community Life invited neighbors to compete for the top spot as favorite dock, deck, or rear yard decorations during the festive December season — with the winner chosen by fellow residents. Congrats to Stuart and Renee Blum of Waterside Place on their win in 2025.
Jingle Jog and Grog
Despite the chilly weather, Delta Coves and Bethel Islanders raced through the neighborhood together — raising money and donating toys and coats to Bethel Island Children’s Support. Spot yourself or friends in the photo gallery.
Coffee & Doughnuts and S'mores by the Shore
Regular casual meetups provide neighbors an opportunity to relax together at Island Camp – kicking off their weekend with s’mores around a campfire or a warm drink and sweet treat at the Picnic Pavilion. Look for more of these events in 2026.
Intro to Boating 101
For those looking at diving into the boating lifestyle, this event provided an overview on the types of boats for differing lifestyles and requirements for owning a boat in California.
New Neighbor Whale-come
Residents — both new and established — connected at Island Camp at The New Neighbor Whale-come. This morning meetup has become a place for new neighbors to step into the community, as well as meet the Community Life team.
Executive Director Meet & Greet
New to the community — Executive Director Vanessa Torre invited residents to stop by, introduce themselves, and spark a conversation with her. We appreciate everyone’s warm welcome to Vanessa as she begins her tenure with Delta Coves Community Life.
Leadership Info Session & Kick Off
Neighbors kicked off the new year learning about the Delta Coves Leadership program. From there, four residents joined Leadership Class 1 and began their learning journey. Interested in leveling up in leadership? Email Community Life to join the interest list for Leadership Class 2 in 2027.
Driven by fellow residents
Delta Coves neighbors built events to bring connection to the community this winter with the following resident-led events.
Resident potlucks
A community staple the last few years, the resident potlucks continue to share their favorite dishes, try something new, and party the evening away with fellow neighbors. The potluck crew has more in store for 2026.
Wine Club adventures
All aboard the shuttle — Delta Coves Wine Club traversed the roads of Lodi for the annual wine festival. Participants delighted in several wine and food samples along the way.
Club gatherings
While some clubs paused for a break, others kept playing strong. Keep an eye on the club activities calendar to try something new or step up to christen a new club in the community.
Ushered in with your board
Your board of directors stays hard at work stewarding the community year round. Over the winter, your member directors completed board member orientation and launched the first Delta Discussions meetup. As a whole, the group continued to meet with the November, January, and March general meetings and December and February executive sessions.
